March and April Favourites

For this month's favourites I've had to combine both March and April's goodies as I'm currently having to lend out my laptop so I'm having to use it whenever I have it, hopefully it won't be for long!

I've got a few new products along with some oldies which I have loved for a long time! For some reason lately, I'm drawn to anything pink I don't know if it's because spring is around the corner or what but I have never been a pink girl but lately that's all I seem to be buying.

March Loves

This little Moonlit Sands Spa Retreat candle has definitely been getting me on the spring and summer vibes, I picked it up from Matalan for around the £2.00 mark. The reason I bought it was because it smells exactly like holiday, the sand and sea mixed in with suncream oh my goodness! I just couldn't resist it.

I've been trying to get into a new skin routine lately as I have a little obsession with exfoliator's but after researching I really needed to calm down on them, but I just don't like liquid face washes. I've never felt clean enough, until I came across Neutrogena's  Visibly Clear Pink Grape Fruit Wash. I actually quite like this I think it's the grape fruit scent it makes my face feel so fresh and sometimes if I've worn a lot of makeup that day I like to pair it with my Olay Pro X Facial Brush which I picked up from Amazon.

This is one of them things where you try it once, hate it. Try it again and Love it.
I tried the Garnier Micellar Water once before and I didn't like it, didn't think it was worth the hype which it's not. However when I received a little bottle and I can not remember for the life of me where, I really began to like it and actually think I'll pick up a little bottle for my holidays that way I won't need to pack both cleanser and eye makeup remover as it does both for the price of one.

This little beauty I got my hand's on was because of the trusty Glossy Box which I recently joined, I received the Luxie 504 Large Angled Contour Brush in my March box and fell completely in love with it. I haven't stopped using it since, I am really looking to try the Luxie 110 blending brush as I've heard amazing things about that one too!

I couldn't not include Fearlesss Boutique in my Favourites for April, nobody has any idea how much money I have spent here. I think my wardrobe is safely stocked up and I still want more! You can find them on instagram @Fearlesss_UK but beware their posts' are addictive.  The pictures in this Collage are all of Beth who own's Fearlesss Boutique, please go and take a look at them girls!

The last of my April Favourites is another product I recieved from my March Glossy Box, the So Susan Light Diffuser Illuminator and Bronzer Duo.
I don't use the bronzer so much but every time I wear the illuminator I get asked what I am wearing, I've had so many compliments when I've had this on my cheek bones. Also on the plus side it smells of Chocolate and Cocount!

April Loves

In this month of April I've been able to refind so many things I used to love, starting with my BH Cosmetic's 10 Concealer Palette.

I've had this for a couple of years now and only recently started to get it back out of my draw, I think I forgot about it because I was trying out a few new concealers. But this is an absolute staple for somebody beginning out in makeup, it has 10 different shades and the quality is amazing at such an affordable price. They are so creamy and last all day!

I recently made an online purchase at Feel  where I picked up a lot of nice new things to play with along with the Glam Glow Supermud which has quickly become the best Face Mask I have ever used! I am not surprised that so many people love this brand, just on my first application it removed every single black head on my face and made my skin feel amazing.

Have you tried the new Loreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Collection yet? If not you need to, right now! I have never used a shampoo or conditioner which makes me feel more like I've walked straight from the Salon than this range. I've become slightly obsessed with it, every person I talk to knows I use this I more than happily let them touch my hair just to feel the magic haha!

I am constantly looking for new moisturisers and currently I really like this Nivea Pure and Natural Regenerating Night Cream,  it feels so light and fresh on the skin no sticky residue or heaviness just before bedtime nice fresh pure moisture.

My Next Favourite is again a moisturiser a body cream from Dove.

When I originally tried this I had the Cocoa Butter version, I used it when I went abroad to Egypt one year and it was an absolutely life saver on my skin even better than after sun as there was no hidden nasties it just felt so cooling. I haven't been able to find the coca version since which I am gutted about but the original one is just as nice, still the same texture and smoothness just without the nice chocolatey smell. I found mine at Wilkinson's Stores but you can pick one up at any Drugstore.

Ok, So I have been case obsessed lately! & guess what, they're all pink. Well Majority. I do not know what is happening to me.

I've picked all of these up from Amazon I've got my Kindle Case from the brand Moko, they aren't cheap but they're definitely worth it for a sturdy pretty case. My Pink Phone Case is from ULAK on Amazon and they have so many colours it's unreal its a three in one case so there the back from and middle which is the silicone part.
My Gold Ipad case is from Accesoreeze, the sheen of
Gold looks so classy I must admit this took a while to come but I'm happy with it anyways; it also came with a protective screen cover which I think it really thoughtful when a company add these into your order. Last of all I picked up my Lumee Case from Ebay, you must be careful when your buying these to make sure they are legit. Luckily mine is the real deal and so it should be for the Price, it came with a charger to recharge the light which I haven't had to do yet since receiving it.

Last of my April Favourites is my new Bumble and Bumble Dry Spun Thickening Spray, this is the perfect tool for them days when you don't know what to do with your hair. Throw in a few waves, add Bumble and Bumble into your hair and your good to go! The best part is there is no horrible smell and no residue from the product!

I'm so glad I've been able to find some products which I haven't used in a while and fallen back in love with them, there is nothing better than remembering why you loved something in the first place.

Name me one product in the comments that you always go back to, maybe I haven't tried it yet?!

High End Haul

For a while now I have been wanting to do a high end haul, the crave to buy a bunch of high end products was just no longer bearable so when I received a feel unique voucher in one of my online shopping parcels I took full advantage!

Probably like most makeup addicts I have a list of products which I want to try, so when I was able to tick a few off my list that I wanted to add to my collection from this website I was more than impressed.

The majority of my items were makeup but I also bought a hair care item and skin care.

First of Skin Care..

Thanks to feel unique I have been able to get my little hands on a glam glow mask! I have been wanting to try one of these bad boys for absolutely ages, I obviously wanted to see what the hype was about and I am not disappointed.
I chose the SuperMud Clearing Treatment Mask for a thorough cleanse of my dull skin which seemed to be completely stuck in a rut.
I used it during my pamper routine and I could not believe my skin after the application, not only was it brighter and smoother but there was not one blackhead left in my pores. If you struggle with blackheads definitely give this a go I could not believe my eyes!

The only hair care product which I purchased from Feel Unique was from a brand called Bumble and Bumble, they're a well known company but to be honest I haven't come across them other than online but after me doing some research it seems that Boots UK actually stock them.

I used this when my hair was a little wavy and I really couldn't be bothered doing anything else to it, I sprayed it into the roots and mid length of my hair,  I hate nothing more than using hairspray and being able to feel product in my hair. HATE IT.
This stuff must be made of fairy dust... It makes your hair stay in style, helps add texture to your curls or waves and you can not feel any residue what so ever, when I find gems like this it makes me so eager to try out all the other products in their line.

Now on to my favourite part Make-up!
I picked up products from Bare Minerals, Urban Decay, The Balm, Laura Mercier, Lancome and Chanel.

I picked up the Bare Mineral's Prime Time Primer in Neutralising Shade, I really like the way it feels light on your skin and the tone of the primer helps to counteract redness they also do other formula's of prime time to help brighten skin or oil control etc.

I bought my very first Urban Decay product and of course it had to be a Naked Palette, so I decided to choose the Naked 2 to begin with as I don't really feel like the Naked 3 are my sort of tones. I find myself using Foxy, Tease and Suspect a lot at the moment.

Two of The Balm products made their way into my basket I picked up an eye liner and of course a highlighter.

When I chose this eyeliner from the Feel Unique website, I actually thought it was a deep brown colour. It turns out its quite a deep maroon much more purple based than brown, I just need to find the right make up look to wear this with.

I couldn't not pick up the Mary-Lou Manizer when I seen it, people aren't over exaggerating when they say it is absolutely beautiful! I'm addicted to using it, it glows so perfectly on the cheek bones its unreal.

Also an update for you guy's Superdrug stores in Manchester are now stocking The Balm in their stores!

Laura Mercier is one of them brands where their products are like gold dust when you use them, the quality is absolutely amazing and feels so luxurious, I treated myself to a primer and an eyeshadow which had been on my wish list for a long time!

When this primer arrived I could not believe the size of it, it is absolutely huge the biggest primer I've ever bought the tube is full of product.

It comes out in a pale pink colour and has a slight sheen to it due to it being a 'radiance' primer, it doesn't have any specks of glitter within it which I'm glad about just a beautiful iridescent shimmer.

The eye shadow which I chose is a lustre eye colour in the shade Topaz, the formula feels so smooth and light when you touch it. In the pan it looks more like a champagne colour but when you actually place it on your eye lid it has a slight undertone to it, I think it would look perfect in the middle of a brown smokey eye.

I bought this Lancome Hypnose Drama Waterproof Mascara as I have seen tons of reviews on it, really good ones at that! I also bought the Doll Eyes version for my mum at Christmas and she can't get enough of it; so I thought I'd give it a go myself. Honestly Lancome isn't a brand which I tend to lean towards but after trying this I think I'll really want to try more of their products.

The Drama Hynose Mascara is amazing the pigmentation is so black which is what we all want from a high end mascara right? but the brush just makes magic it spreads your lashes to give the length but it also provides so much thickness, your lashes look so full and thick.

Last of all is the Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel in all honesty, I decided to get this for the pure fact that pretty much all the you tuber's I watch have it too. I have tried to use it but I had fake tan on and I wasn't very keen on the colour against my tan, I really think its a product I'm going to need more practice with.

However the packaging is so stunning and the texture is smooth and creamy, a very luxurious product I just really want to learn a good method to use with it.

I really hope you enjoyed this post as much as I liked ordering from Feel Unique, I already can't wait to do my next order my wish list on the website is already set up for me haha!

I hope you treat yourself to some new goodies soon! you probably deserve it.
All my love,

Little Drugstore Haul

So last week not only did I receive a bunch of parcels from my on-line shopping addiction but I also went out to the shops and came back with a few needed bits... even though there isn't much, I thought I would share them with you anyway.

I decided to pick up some of my much loved St Moriz as I've probably got one more application left from the tan I'm using, and you can never buy enough tanning mitts.
I usually buy the medium tan but I have been wanting to try the dark version as I always wish my false tan was darker when it has set and I usually apply up to 3 times, so maybe it's the tone of the tan which makes a difference.

I was in need of some new shampoo and conditioner, so when I seen all of the Loreal Elvive was on for half price I had to grab some. I decided to go for the nutri - gloss because at the moment my hair seems quite healthy but I wouldn't mind it looking extra shiny.

Of course I got some of my toner and cleanser which I am also on the verge of running out of, Simple has been the only brand of skin care which I have used for years! My skin used to be so sensitive and using Simple products were the only things which would cool it down, my favourite of their line is the cream eye makeup  remover and it must be a lot of peoples because it is almost always sold out in every drug store your lucky if you find one when you need one.
I wanted to branch out and find a night cream to hydrate my skin through the night, I spotted this Nivea Pure and Natural cream so I thought I would give it a go. It's very light and hydrating and your skin does look so much more replenished in the morning, I definitely want to use it more.

The Rimmel Makeup Stand was on 3 for 2 as it usually is and I was in desperate need of mascara's as I had one left in my collection because they had all been used up so I decided to get one of the Day 2 Night which I have tried before and loved and I picked up the Extreme Black Volume Mascara Flash, I have been using this one for every day at work and I quit like the formula it's nothing special but for work it just makes my lashes look long, spread out and extra black which is all I need. I was also looking for a new pink lipliner, I always use Rimmel's East End Snob for and every day pink but this brighter one caught my eye... it's in the shade 101 You're All Mine and it goes perfectly with Mac's Snob.

As I can't make a Lush stop just yet, I always return to Radox. So I chose my favourite scent Ginger and Shea Butter to get me through my bath nights, it is super creamy and smells beautiful perfect for when you need some time out.
