My Mac Cosmetics Collection So Far...

Today I thought I would give you a little look into my Mac Cosmetics Collection, this is not an overview of my whole make-up collection just a little insight into the products I own by Mac.
I felt a little brave today and decided to do some lip swatches for you guys too, hopefully you like them!

from left to right: Boxed Studio Fix Fluid, Pro Longwear Waterproof Foundation, Studio Fix Fluid, Prolongwear Concealer and Boxed Prolong wear Concealer

The Base Products I have from Mac are foundations and concealers, they are all in the shade NC15 which is my colour match when I don't have false tan on. I don't have any shades from Mac which would match my false tan as the majority of the time I order online, so I am a little bit unsure of which shade would be for me. I also have a Prep and Prime sample from Mac somewhere, which I have absolutely fallen in love with and I am for sure going to purchase the full size on my next splurge.
I love using Stuido Fix Fluid for them days when I want some good coverage for an occassion and I always go back to the pro longwear concealer, however I'm not to convinced with the Waterproof foundation it feels very thin and the coverage just isn't for me I think when I purchased this I got it confused with the Pro Sculpt foundation which I want to try.

From Left to Right: Sheer Blush #511 & Matte Blush in Melba

Unfortunately I don't own any bronzer's from Mac and not that many blushes either..
On the left of the picture is a blush which I was given as a gift many years ago, this is from an old collection of Mac's which had a red embellium on the packaging but I can't seem to find any trace of the collection online. I like to use this blush when I have a tan as it is quite a bright pink and has little gold specks within it which looks beautiful on bronzed skin.
The blush on the right is called Melba a powder Matte blush, fortunately this blush works on any skin shade as an all round everyday shade to me it's a soft pink with undertones of brown in it; on the Mac cosmetics website they describe it as 'soft coral peach'.

Left to Right: Soft and Gentle & Lightscapade

Other than my lip products my highlighters are my beloved makeup product! These Mineralise Skin Finishes are to die for, I own Soft and Gentle and Lightscapade. For my everday makeup look if I don't want to highlight my cheek bones I place a little bit of one of these on the bridge of my nose and I feel so much more put together,  Soft and Gentle gives off more of a golden highlight whereas Lightscapade is beautiful on pale skin and looks amazing underneath your brow bone!

Of course for all of these products you need your makeup tools...

Left to Right: 150 Large Powder Brush, 168 Large Angled Contour Brush, 109 Small Contour Brush and 188 Small Duo Fibre Face Brush

To make sure my face is all blended together apart from the obvious beauty blender we need to have some brushes in our kit ***magic wands*** cough cough.
I only own four of mac brushes at the moment as they aren't the most affordable to pick up whenever we feel like it, I currently own the 150 Large Powder Brush, 168 Large Angled Contour Brush, my 109 Small Contour Brush and the 188 Small Duo Fibre.
I think my favourite of all of these has to be the 109 Small Contour Brush,  I love the finish of my contour when using this.. It's the perfect shape to just get right underneath your cheekbone to create that flawless shadow.

Lips Lips Lips

Left to Right: Edge to Edge, Spice and Cherry

I'm going to say it... Mac have to be my favourite brand for lipliners.
The formula they use is so creamy, it never fails to glide on my lips like silk. I have had Cherry for a while which is the most vibrant red but my newest additions are Edge to Edge and Spice, these have become my everyday shades. Edge to Edge for when I want to wear a pink lippie and Spice when I want a nude, they create such beautiful combo's with so many lipsticks.

My swatches are straight from the camera unedited for you guys, so you can see exactly how the colour performs on a natural lip colour.

The biggest part of my collection has to be Mac Lipsticks, I can not get enough of them and I need more!

Back Row: Rebel, Ravishing, Russian Red, Velvet Teddy.
Front Row: Snob, Shy Girl and Peach Blossom.

I probably have every colour you'll every need for those iconic looks, but so far I have Rebel (Satin Finish) the vampy purple in the back followed by Ravishing (Cream Sheen) which is a beautiful glossy orange, I feel like it is more on the peach side but it does look orange at first sight. Russian Red (Matte) the most classic red you'll ever need, I love how this is a blue tone Red as it suits my cool toned skin much more than warmer reds;  followed by Velvet Teddy (Matte), Kylie Jenner's Go To.

On the bottom line there is Snob (Matte) which is a blue toned pink which is a nice bright baby pink, Shy Girl (Cream Sheen) my everyday nude shade which is the reason it is so much smaller than the others, I really like to pair this with either Edge to Edge or Spice Lipliner. Last but not least we have Peach Blossom (Cream Sheen) which is my newest lip colour, this coloured pink is so stunning it makes your lips look so natural with a hint of colour I just love how it looks on my lips and makes me feel so put together for a natural look.

Left to Right: Ravishing, Russian Red, Peach Blossom, Shy Girl, Velvet Teddy, Snob and Rebel.
